Baltimore Co Fire Department Associate Trauma Surgeon Dr. Matt Belan, also a member of WMVFC, is pictured here teaching advanced airways with a new device called a Glidescope Ranger.  This training session was held at WMVFC for  volunteer and career Paramedics in Baltimore County. This video screen 'Glidescope' device makes securing difficult airways much easier and less traumatic. The device was purchased using federal grants-your tax dollars at work right back here in Baltimore County.
 

Members will also be receiving practical advanced training on the video airway device during a December training by Dr. David Vitberg, also a Baltimore County Fire Department  Associate Trauma Surgeon. The sessions will be held at the MD Anatomy Board lab next to Shock-Trauma.
