On Monday evening around 6 pm, Station 200 was alerted for Engine 201 and Tower 209 for a dwelling fire with rescue in Chase. Engine 54 from Chase arrived with fire showing. There turned out to be no rescue at location, but a house filled with furniture and other items from floor to ceiling on fire. There also was a roof built on top of another roof which hampered extinguishing the stubborn fire.
Great job by Company 200 crews. Also great pager turnout as Medic 203 went out on a call and more then enough people responded to the station which would have manned our upcoming second engine.
WJZ chopper 13 was overhead to capture aerial shots.
